Domestic cats are similar in size to the other members of the genus Felis, typically weighing between 4 kilograms (8 lb 13 oz) and 5 kilograms (11 lb 0 oz). However, some breeds, such as the Maine Coon, can exceed 11 kilograms (25 lb). Conversely, very small cats (less than 1.8 kilograms (3 lb 15 oz)) have been reported. Cats have 7 cervical vertebrae like almost all mammals, 13 thoracic vertebrae (humans have 12), 7 lumbar vertebrae (humans have 5), 3 sacral vertebrae like most mammals (humans have 5 because of their bipedal posture), and a variable number of caudal vertebrae in the tail (humans retain 3 to 5 caudal vertebrae, fused into an internal coccyx). The extra lumbar and thoracic vertebrae account for the cat's spinal mobility and flexibility. Attached to the spine are 13 ribs, the shoulder, and the pelvis. Unlike human arms, cat forelimbs are attached to the shoulder by free-floating clavicle bones, which allow them to pass their body through any space into which they can fit their heads.

I have the partial eclipse. I think it is very important. It is because it is more than 7 years. Now, I tell you what I don’t eat. But you don’t be afraid. There are include tofu, onion, scallion, chocolate (don’t like), fish, tomato, cherry… There aren’t all. Some I was forgot.

But, I need to overcome it. I was overcome the fish and tomato 2 moth ago. I was happy about this.

I lost my way in the forest -2c Nicole pang (11)

There was a wonderful day. I could take some pictures of deers, kangaroos and many other animals.

When they went back to the forest, I followed them. I started feeling little confused and nervous .I did not know the direction I was going so I kept walking and walking. After a half day, I felt tired so I slept under a tree.

The next day, the weather was cold suddenly. There was so much slows on the forest ground. I was sure that I caught a cold at that time. I used my body energy hoping to find out the right direction .Fortunately, a phone booth was in front of me .It gave me anew hope. I used my last pocket money to call 999 police stations

“Hello it is police station, what can I help you?” the one police asked.

“I lost my way in the forest I am calling you from a phone booth. Can you tell me how I can go out of the forest? I said.

They told me that I must move that they could find the phone booth which I had already called from.

After 45 minutes, they found me and sent me to the hospital.

Although I was not hurt, I learnt a big lesson ‘Do not follow strange people or animals/leave our house easily.” I would not be stupid anymore.

FAST FIVE review(eugene lee)

FAST and FURIOUS to me is quite good, pretty awesome and quite exciting. This episode is the best in the saga I think, more characters, and more film cars. From 1-10, I would like to give 8.

Film cars and stunts (special effects) really attracted me but honestly, five stories of FAST and FURIOUS are quite similar such as chasing with cops, smashing, crashing, robbing and explosion.

The start of the film was stealing some muscle cars in the train such as Dodge Charger, Challenger et cetera. It was quite similar with episode one and two but still very exciting. And chasing with the cops in the street. After that, they planned to rob a bank. They used two muscle cars (Dodge Charger) to pull out a vault from the bank and the vault smashed a lot, pretty awesome right? I loved that part very much.

Some say that part is inspired from Jacky Chan's film but I think definitely not. It is because those shots were pretty exaggerated.

Although some action in the film are quite impossible, it is really entertain the audience. In the future, if there is a FAST SIX I must buy the ticket immediately!

My favorite film is Toy Story3.Toy story 3 is a 2010 American 3D computer animated film. The story is about Andy and his old toys. Andy is a 17 years old boy who is going to move to college with his favorite toy , Woody. He intends to packs the other toys in a rubbish bag, and store them in the attic. However, his mum puts the bag out on the roadside as garbage mistakenly. The toys believe that Andy no longer wants them so they sneak into a box which is donated to Sunnyside Daycare. But Woody saw the true and tried to clear up the misunderstanding, other toy refuse to believe what Woody said until they see Andy is looking for them by Mrs Potatoes head's missing eye in Andy's room. The toys try to leave but  Lotso, the leader of the toys in Sunnyside Daycare jailed them with his supporter, including Buzz in his demo mode. Woody returns to Sunnyside to help his friends got out. And luckily, they escape from a terrible dump at the ending and back to Andy's house.

Hey all,

It's so glad that Easter Holiday has arrived! What have you planned to do during the holiday? If you want, you can still post some blog entries during the holiday. I'll keep checking this web site.

By the way, did you all eat the Easter eggs I gave you? Some students told me that they had put the chocolate eggs in their pockets, so they melted.... =.= Come on guys, be careful next time! Chocolates melt easily, and our body emits heat energy!! Study IS harder.... Kaka!!!

My role model is my cousin Marco. He was born on 26 February 1988. He is a world champion Hong Kong cyclist. On 24 March 2011, he stunned a quality field to win the gold medal in the Men's 15-kilometer scratch at the 2011 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Apeldoorn, Holland.  He has won many prizes already, i am very proud of him.

I have god headache, sore throat, run at the nose and sound of sighing. I thought I was ill last Friday. But I don’t want to see the doctor. It was because I late the smell of the clinic. Yesterday, we have two exams. First, was Chinese reading comprehension. I used a hand to write. Then, used other hand to treat my nose. When I finish the text. My table has many tissue paper (USED)! At the time, I still didn’t want to see the doctor. Then, we have LS exam. We have 50mins to do it. I think I use about 15-20 min to treat my nose. Luckily the time is enough. When I was doing the LS text, I thought I needed to visit the doctor.

Easter hoilday

Few more day will be a Easter hoilday!!I am so excited for that day.I will have a short hoilday to take a test.Alought i have a short hoilday.But i need do all of the Easter hoilday homework.In the Easter hoilday i need to study English in the hoilday.It is because in the month of June.We have a exam,so i need to work hard.I hope i can have a good result in the exam.Hope we have a happy Easter hoilday!!!!!!!!

the "googlemap shooting vehicle"(eugene lee)

i wanted to search some information from the library with my friends yesterday. when i was walking to the inter part of the library, i saw a "googlemap shooting vehicle" just passed the school. to see a googlemap shooting vehicle is quite precious i think. because they are only a few of such vehicle in the world.

 here is the googlemap shooting vehicle. of course this photo is not taken by me because i did not bring my mobile phone to school. i saw a white one not red but those are the same probably. the camera on the top can spin 360° and under it, it has four cameras.
 the google map is quite useful and helpful. even if you want to go to trip, you can also simply know about what the streets look like there from the googlemap. but if we use the perspective of the engineer who is built the google map for us, update the google map is simply wants to die! we all know google map can find all the roads in the world  probably, not all actually. but when you are going to update a small city in the map it must cause you 5 months or more. if you are a computer genius, do not worry about your spectacles degrees may increase to a uncountable number, do not worry about your glasses become two chopping boards. if you fit these two conditions, i will recommend you to take this job because you need to face to the computer for 168 hours in a week until you can finish all the updating.
it seems to be a simple job for the driver. sitting on the driver seat and drive around the streets, sounds great. but if the road is too thin, cannot drive in. try this...

yes, it is the "googlemap shooting bicycle" . it is sub-zero, isn't? i mean the bike, not that guy sitting on it. he makes me laugh for a while. i do not know why he needs to wear a helmet and a professional bicycle shoes on it. this bike cannot turn over anyway except when there is having some strong wind. i think this bike is quite suitable for a starter.

Yesterday i saw something sadly in facebook . When Girl's Generation have a show . Suddenly have a  unknown person ran to the stage and forced pull Taeyeon . Everyone were frighten about this. The question is why do not have any one to help Taeyeon just  Sunny and the compere to help Taeyeon . The Show have about 100 worker Why didn't have anyone to help Taeyeon . Sunny was very man . I was so sad Taeyeon like this . the unknown person is a devil !!! A visit to the Zoo-2c Nicole pang 2c(11) GP3

Last Saturday, my family and I went to the zoo together by shuttle bus.

Firstly, we went to see crocodile. We were afraid of them. They were terrible and their teeth were very sharp. When they were sleeping, we used a branch to poke them .They attacked us immediately. Fortunately, they were in the pond with steal gate, we would become their dinner.

Then we went to visit zebras. I thought they were cute and kind .They were in beautiful black and white stripes. They fed mainly on herbs and twigs. I could see

Thirdly, we went to say hello to chimpanzee. They had much hair and really looked like human beings. They are probably relate to us by blood. I thought were as clever as us, too. In the cage, I could see their strong long arms and how they used them for climbing.

After the visit, we started feel very hungry .There were some food courts so we could choose lots of food to eat. At 6 p.m., we went back home by train

That day was an amazing day. Except we learned how to protect them. I also learned their habitats and behaviors

a zebra’s body, too. I would raise them if there was enough space at home.

Thailand New Year Festival (Songkran Festival)--------------Nicolai Chu

Last year, I went to Thailand with my mom(she's Thai) on  April.We  went  to  Hua Hin , that's   my  mom's   home   there. It's  Songkran  Festival ( Water  festival).  On  April 13,my mom  drove  a  pick up  car  that  put  a  big  water  tank  on  the  back.I and my cousins  stood  on  the  back  around  the  water tank.We  throw  the  water to peoples who  walked  or rode  motorbikes  passed  by   along  the  way.And  the  other  cars  and  peoples  who  stood  along  the  street  side  also  throw  the  water  to  us  on  the  car.
        When  my  mom  stopped  the  car,we  came  down  and  played  the water gun.Some  peoples  put  the white powder on my face,that  made  everybody's  faces turned white and wet.We  played  the  water  for  several  hours  but  we're  not  tired.It's very fun and happy.There  were  many peoples on the street that made the traffic very jam.But nobody had been worried because most of them came to play the water.

         We played the water until the afternoon and we felt hungry.My mom took all of us to the beach nearby.There  was a big seafood restaurant,we ordered a lot of food.The food were so dilicious or I was very hungry?

My New Home+=+=+=+=+=by Cyrus Hau

In May, I will move my home to another place, my new home is not that far,it is only across a road, now the house was still under renovation, and I am getting busy with the design of my room.  I am really happy that I can design it by my own.  My room is not very big, so I need a loft bed with a desk underneath for a better space to use.  The main colour of my room is army green and beige.  I can't wait to move in!

my favourite singer by layman

My favourite singers is fama. They are hong kong local singer. Many people said that local song were not good. But i don't think so. Local song have local good and other city song have other city sing good. So we can't said  the local song are the worst .The local one alway sing out the people feeling. My favourite singer is Jay Chou,he is a Taiwan singer. I think Jay Chou's is very cool and his song is so pleasant to hear.I always listen his songs when I was bored or unhappy. After listen his songs ,my unhappy feeling will be disappear.I think his music have a magic feeling,it can make me glad. I saw a lot of his concert ,but I can't go to see it .I hope i can go to his cocert when i grow up.My mother didn't let me go to Taiwan to see it. I was so sad.So now ,i just can listen his songs in MP3.

MY Taekwondo - BY BUGSY CHIU 2B (19)

  I love sports & play sports, and I LOVE playing Taekwondo the most.
  I started when I was 5 years old, During the beginning I had no idea "what is Taekwondo? And How to play Taekwondo?" Even I don't know what will it be in my future in Taekwondo, will I give up? I didn't know.
  I began to grow up, I won my first CHAMPION in 21st July, 2005.

I felt very happy that,I won MY SECOND championship in 24th August,2005, I fight for it, I WORK very HARD for this battle.

  I WON many battles, I had counted I won about 39 champions (OH! YES I AM GOOD!!!!).I won many other battle, BIG battles. For example: I won twice champion in Hong Kong and one Second. And one was the 2nd of Asia City Golden Cup. I LOVE THIS CUP SO MUCH!! It tells people how good I am..

I think Taekwondo is a very interesting and exciting sports, it'll make you stronger, and if you wanted to keep fit Taekwondo will be a good sports to choose. Now, I train with the HONG KONG team every Thursday 9:00pm-11:00. it's very tired, sometimes I will feel boring but it's good for me so I always tell myself " I can do it ". I wanted to tell people don't give up easily tell yourself YOU CAN DO IT.
